| We strongly denounce the heinous acts of abduction, torture, and forced injections of an unknown substance inflicted upon legitimate opposition politicians and human rights defenders in Zimbabwe, allegedly by suspected state security agencies. These abhorrent actions are not only inhumane but also a grave violation of fundamental human rights and international norms.
We call upon the international community to condemn these acts of brutality and to exert pressure on the Zimbabwean authorities to bring the perpetrators to justice. The government of Zimbabwe must uphold its responsibility to protect the rights and safety of its citizens and ensure that those responsible for these atrocities face the full force of the law.
SouthernDefenders stands in solidarity with the victims and their families and extends our unwavering support to those who continue to advocate for justice and human rights in Zimbabwe.
We urge the global community to join us in demanding accountability, transparency, and an immediate end to such flagrant human rights abuses. It is imperative that the voices of the oppressed are heard, and that the perpetrators of these crimes are held accountable for their actions.
We join Action for Southern Africa - ACTSA and Amnesty International in condemning these henious acts.
