For quick release!

The Lofa Community Radio Network is disappointed by the Lofa in County Sports Steering Committee's willful refusal to honor its budget of USD 2,050 to support all ten community radio stations and online platforms in the county so they can cover and air all games in the preliminary rounds of the national county sport meet held in Voinjama City, Lofa County.

The committee disregarded the budget as submitted, failing to take into account our desire to support the county's efforts to publicize sporting events despite the numerous difficulties these stations face.

All of the county's radio stations and online platforms have decided to boycott all sporting events until our demands are met in light of the aforementioned. We ask that all journalists and reporters in the county follow suit immediately.
