History of Youths Initiatives Through Education (YITE).

Youths Initiatives Through Education (YITE) came in existence on June 5, 2019, it was first call Jorwah UnitedStudents Association (JUSA) founded on April 28, 2019 in Gbarnga City, B**g county, Liberia West Africa.

With the dream of providing education for the vulnerable or underprivileged children's and less fortunate youths in the society. After theEbola pandemic in West Africa and Liberia was the worsest reportedly hate country by the pandemic wherethousands of Liberian children's lost their parents and guardians during the the Ebola pandemic.

After the World Health Organization (WHO) declared Liberia free from Ebola virus, a young student age 22 name Abraham Kollie of the mother High school in B**g county, central Liberia and his friends students started findingways to help the vulnerable children's and less fortunate to in Liberia, after the Ebola virus has taken thousands ofLiberian lives and leaving many citizens displaced. After the formation of (JUSA) by a 12 grade student call Abraham Kollie on April 28, 2015.

He started working withhis fellows students from 10, 11 and 12 grades to promote the organization dreams, which we started workingtogether without any support from anyone. We started hosting the organization meeting on every Sunday from 4-6pm, by paying meeting due every Sunday. And also we started holding contracts to work for people just to substainthe organization.

Our income was only based on due payment and doing contact for people, which we were able tostart our scholarship or financial Aid program with in.Here are the first leaderships after the formation of Jorwah United Students Association (JUSA).

Since the formation of this students charity organization,we have been operating our scholarships or financial Aid program only in Victoria Tolbert Yancy Elementary and Junior high school, both from elementary and Junior high divisions.

After the formation in 2015, it first scholarships initiatives was launched on July 18 2015, which the organizationwas enable to provide twenty (13 ) students scholarships or financial Aid for those who dux their various classes at time, including ten (5) girls and ten (8) boys respectively.

These students have been benefiting from our scholarship program since 2015 to 2018 .
But the initiative came to a standstill due to the lack of support.
The aim of the organization was to help underprivileged students to be motivated and passionate in their education endeavors.

Providing them the means to showcase their talents in their studies.
We have been getting funds through contracting hard labor and weekly dues to keep the program running.

In 2018 -2019 academic year, (JUSA) didn't offered any scholarship or financial Aid program due to the leaderships locations across Liberia. There were no longer due payment by organization members to get money, as a result theorganization budget was empty to provide any assistance.

Why the Jorwah United Students Association ( JUSA) was changed to Youths Initiatives Through Education(YITE).

The name was changed because the leaderships no longer hold and was dissolved due to everyone private engagement. And because of the dreams and passions to serve humanity, the founder thought it wise to continue pushing his dreams forward. Based on that background we continue to encourage others youths from different geographical locations to join the Initiatives. Due to it growing members from different locations, dreams, new leaderships from different geographical locations and the ways we received accommodations from people from different places, we decided having now in three counties in including: B**g, Lofa and Nimba.

Youths Initiatives Through Education (YITE) Objectives.
