WE WILL NEVER FORGET THE TRAGIC STORY OF GEORGE STINNEY JR.

George Stinney Jr., born October 21, 1929, was an African-American youngster who was unfairly convicted at the age of 14 for killing two girls; Betty June Binnicker, age 11, and Mary Emma Thames, age 7, in his hometown in March of 1944.

He was convicted, sentenced, and executed by an electric chair in June 1944. He is widely known for being wrongfully executed.

Before being executed, George wept and said he knew nothing about the children's death. Seventy years after George died, his case was revisited by a South Carolina Court, and it showed that he didn't receive a fair trial.

Young George died at the age of 14 for a crime he didn't commit. If he was alive today, he should have been 93 years old. His only problem was his "COLOR". He was black and those who investigated him were all whites.
