Light Wave Joins the World to Celebrate World Menstrual Hygiene Day!

Light Wave proudly joined the global community in observing World Menstrual Hygiene Day by engaging five schools in the Caldwell community. Our Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Program was a successful and impactful initiative aimed at empowering girls, breaking the stigma and fear surrounding menstruation and promoting a healthy period-friendly world.

Our powerful facilitators led sessions focused on empowering adolescent girls with accurate knowledge, self-confidence, and support systems.

We launched a campaign to raise ambassadors young advocates who will help address challenges related to menstruation and other SRHR issues within their schools.

We initially planned for 100 students, but we were excited to reach and impact over 100 adolescent girls many of whom are now eager to become advocates themselves.

We are also thrilled to announce our new partnership with these schools to continue working with adolescent girls through programs focused on:

Health,Education & Career Guidance and Entrepreneurship
