SANNIQUELLIE, NIMBA COUNTY, Early this morning, the Liberia Joint Security conducted a targeted operation resulting in the arrest of 23 individuals.
​The suspects were apprehended for the alleged illegal possession of multiple fi****ms. Following the arrests, the group was transported to the regional security headquarters for further investigation and profiling.
​Authorities have reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining law and order, noting that this operation is part of ongoing efforts to curb the proliferation of illicit weapons in the region.

Liberia and Japan have officially signed a $16 million (2.45 billion JPY) grant agreement to rehabilitate the vital Freeport–Gabriel Tucker Bridge corridor.
