(Contact: +231-779-227-224 Grace/Mom) For years, a mother searched for answers about her son after he was placed in the care of Esther Nagbe in Pleebo at the age of 15.
When she finally found him in Monrovia, her relief quickly turned to heartbreak. She learned that he was battling severe asthma and appeared to be living in difficult circumstances.
Determined to bring him home to Pleebo and provide the care he desperately needs, she now faces another challenge—she is struggling financially and lacks the means to transport him and support his medical treatment.

With profound sadness and a heavy heart, on behalf of the family, we announce the passing of Miss Lofty Suah.
Lofty passed away on June 5, 2026, at JFK Hospital in Monrovia after weeks of hospitalization due to kidney failure. Her passing has left a deep void in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.
During this difficult journey, Lofty demonstrated remarkable courage and strength. The family would like to express sincere gratitude to everyone who stood by her side with prayers, encouragement, visits, and support throughout this challenging period.
We extend special appreciation to Sis Evelyn(USA) and Dr.Vicky Gray, whose generosity and compassion knew no bounds. Both graciously offered to cover the expenses for Lofty's kidney transplant abroad, giving hope during a very difficult time. Sadly, due to medical complications, Lofty was unable to regain the physical strength needed to undergo the surgery.
The family is deeply thankful for every act of kindness, every prayer, every contribution, and every word of comfort shown to Lofty and her loved ones. Your support provided strength and hope during an incredibly painful season.
As we mourn this heartbreaking loss, we ask that you continue to keep the family in your thoughts and prayers. Funeral and other arrangements will be announced as soon as they become available and the family is prepared to share them.
May her soul rest in perfect peace, and may her memory forever remain a blessing to all who knew her.🕊️💔
(Contact: +231-886-807-314 Helen/Sister) A 23-year-old woman walked into St. Joseph Catholic Hospital in Monrovia seeking treatment for severe stomach pain. Following surgery, complications arose and the procedure did not go as planned.
She is now being referred to John F. Kennedy Medical Center for further evaluation and specialized surgical management.
The incident has sparked allegations of medical malpractice, while others question whether the patient's condition, the risks involved, and the outcome were adequately explained to her family members.
The circumstances surrounding the case remain unclear and would require a thorough review to determine exactly what occurred."

While we are awaiting the proper authorities to officially announce this sad news, our hearts are heavy with grief over the passing of a soul we were all hoping and praying to save.
We extend our deepest and most sincere gratitude to everyone who made every effort to help, support, and restore this precious life. Your dedication, compassion, prayers, and tireless attempts did not go unnoticed. Though the outcome is not what we hoped for, we are truly thankful for every act of kindness and every effort made along the way.
This painful loss reminds us that while we may make plans and do all we can, ultimately God's will prevails. As the saying goes, *we propose, but God disposes.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, loved ones, and all those affected by this heartbreaking loss. May the departed soul rest in perfect peace, and may God grant comfort, strength, and healing to everyone mourning during this difficult time. 🕊️🤍
