Liberia begin the first of three friendlies against Benin at 13:00GMT (1:00PM Liberian time) on 24 March in in Antalya, Turkey.

We will take on Sierra Leone on 27 March and Burundi on 29 March at 12:00GMT (midday in Liberia) respectively.

Butler calls-up 23 players for friendlies in Turkey

Liberia head coach Peter Butler has called-up 23 players for three friendlies in Antalya, Turkey.

Italy-based Mohamed Cherif Diallo and local based players Junior Yeanay, Allenton Sembeh, Frank Allison, Emmanuel Reyah, Divine Roosevelt Teah and Prince Zawoh will be hoping to make their debuts.

Teah was an unused substitute when Liberia lost 2-0 to Egypt in an international friendly at the Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria on 30 September 2021.

There is a return for United States-based Joel Johnson and England-based Mohammed Sangare, who were injured on international and club duties.

Defender Johnson last featured for Liberia in a 1-0 defeat to Sierra Leone in the first round of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers at the Siaka Stevens Stadium in Freetown on 8 September 2019.

Sangare last appeared for Liberia in a 1-0 defeat to Chad in a 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Stade Omnisports Idriss Mahamat Ouya in N’Djamena on 13 October 2019.

Liberia will take on Benin on 24 March, Sierra Leone on 27 March and Burundi on 29 March.

The talented striker is eligible to represent Liberia at the international level.

BURTON Albion are delighted to announce the signing of striker Christian Saydee on loan from AFC Bournemouth until the end of the season.

Christian arrives at the Pirelli Stadium after impressing within Bournemouth’s youth setup, earning him a call-up to the first team.

Saydee scored on his debut for the Cherries in a 5-0 victory over MK Dons in the Carabao Cup. In total he has made five appearances in competitive competition, with two of those games coming in the Championship.

The forward has previously had loan spells with seventh-tier side Poole Town as well as National League club Weymouth.

Manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink spoke on the Bournemouth frontman, saying he is very happy to bring Christian into the club.

“Christian is a young powerful striker, that we are very glad to be able to bring in to the club," said Hasselbaink.

"We do not want to compare him to Jebbison at all, but after losing him we needed to bring someone in, and we think Saydee is the right man.

"He has a really bright future ahead (and) we hope he can have a very successful loan spell here."

Liberian midfielder Stephen Seameh penned a contract wIth Black Bull Fc, the length of the contract is unknown.

Black Bull Fc wrapped up the signature of an experienced Liberian midfielder , Stephen Seameh., who has previously won the league .

Black Bull Fc are the current champions Mocambola 2021 first league.

Butler names 22-man squad for final World Cup qualifiers

Liberia head coach Peter Butler has named three uncapped players in a 22-man squad for the final World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria and Central African Republic (CAR).

They are Watanga FC goalkeeper Derrick Julu and defenders Mark Pabai of PEC Zwolle in the Netherlands and Jamal Arago of Sabail FK in Azerbaijan.

Pabai has finally accepted to play for Liberia, having first been invited for the back-to-back 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers with Chad in October 2019.

The 21-year-old moved to the Netherlands with his family when was six years old.

Arago featured for the Black Satellites during the qualifiers for the 2013 Africa Youth Championship but didn't make the final squad due to injury.

The 28-year-old, who also has two under-20 friendly caps for Ghana, qualifies to play for Liberia through his grandmother.

There is a recall for goalie Boison Wynney de Souza, midfielder Justin Paul Salmon and striker Peters Wilson and Sylvanus Nimely.

Liberia will take on Nigeria on 13 November and CAR on 16 November at the Stade Ibn Batouta in Tangiers, Morocco.

Boison de Souza invited for Lone Star World Cup qualifiers

Spanish-born Liberian goalkeeper, Boison Wynney De Souza who plays for FC Someșul Dej in Romania's third tier, has been called up for Liberia's penultimate and last World Cup qualifying match, which will take place next month.

In June 2017, the 24-year-old made his Lone Star debut in a 3–0 loss to Zimbabwe in the 2019 AFCON qualification phase and he is now making his return to the national team since 2018.

The return of the former Mallorca youngster to the Liberia national team was confirmed by the Romanian club.

"We are happy to inform you that our team goalkeeper Boison Wynney de Souza, has been summoned to the Liberia national team."

Former LPRC OILERS star player Sholee Deco Quiah has signed a three-year contract with Invincible Eleven (IE).

Our reporter quotes Deco as saying there is nowhere like home and as such he feels good being back to the Sunshine Yellow Boys to enable his "beloved" Club win trophies.

He is calling on supporters of the Invincible Eleven Football Club to keep supporting the club and also making the Sunshine Yellow Boys the biggest Soccer Club Team in the Liberia Football Association Orange National League.

Former US women’s U20 forward Abigail Kofi Kim have withdraw from Liberia squad due to injury the 23 years old Orlando Pride attacker was among few players who agreed to come and play for Liberia,

Abigail was born in Monrovia, to a Liberian parents and grew up with an adopted family in Vashon, Washington.

She represented America U18, U20 and U23 she also played 2020–2021 season for Italian Serie A club Fiorentina Appearance (6) times and scoring(1)goal she later returned to America and joined Orlando Pride,

the experience attacker also played in the UEFA Women's Champions League
with Fiorentina.

Newly promoted LFA Women's Upper League Club Shaita Angels Football club unveiled beautiful miss 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐔𝐫𝐞𝐲 as vice president of the club.

Macarthur FC have signed former Adelaide United attacker Al Hassan Toure.

Toure is a two year veteran of the A-League Mens. The 21-year old first made his A-League debut in October 2019, starting in Adelaide's match against Sydney FC. The 21 year old has made 36 senior appearances in all competitions, fifteen as a starter, and scored seven goals.

He won the FFA Cup his first senior year with Adelaide in 2019. Toure had previously played with the club's academy, featuring for United in the A-League Youth in 2018-19. He has also featured six times with the Olyroos in the 2020 AFC U-23 Asian Cup.

Al Hassan Toure was born to a Liberian 🇱🇷 parents in Guinea and moved to Australia at the young age.

Azerbaijan base defender Arago Jamal confirmed that his lawyer and the Liberia football Association already started his nationality switch process with FIFA if everything go well the left back will be available for Liberia.

The experience defender represented Ghana 🇬🇭 U17 and U20 he is currently playing for Sabail fc in the Azerbaijan 🇦🇿 top flight
