The Alliance for Peace, Justice and Human Rights relocated her office at 72nd Kpelle Town in Paynesville city. We are back and fully active, continuing our mission to serve humanity and fight for justice.

Let’s join our voices together, fighting this common enemy that’s entrapping Liberia’s future. Mothers are losing good sons and daughters to drugs, Liberia is unsafe when darkness falls because of drugs. Drug is killing the Liberian youth faster and in our numbers.

The Conference of the Parties (COP) refers to the supreme decision making body of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). It brings together countries from around the world to discuss and negotiate actions to address climate change. The first COP meeting took place in 1995, and since then, COP has been held annually, with each conference building on the progress of previous ones.

The most notable COP event is COP21, which took place in Paris in 2015, where the landmark Paris Agreement was adopted. The agreement aims to limit global warming to below 2°C above pre-industrial levels, with efforts to limit the increase to 1.5°C. COP meetings serve as a platform for countries to set goals, pledge commitments, and review progress on their climate actions.

In addition to government delegates, COP also involves stakeholders from non-governmental organizations (NGOs), businesses, and other civil society groups, making it a vital space for global dialogue and action on climate issues. The outcomes of COP meetings are crucial in shaping international climate policy and in driving the collective efforts required to mitigate and adapt to the impacts of climate change.
