Only One Survivor After Police Car Crash 💔😭

Nimba County is in tears today. Reports are coming in about a very sad accident that happened just after the Nimba Bridge on the way to Ganta.

A police patrol car and another vehicle crashed into each other with a lot of force. The impact was so bad that both cars were left completely destroyed just pieces of metal on the road.
The most heartbreaking part?

We are hearing that almost everyone involved lost their lives. Out of all the people in both cars, only one lady is said to have survived the crash.

It is a dark day for the families and the community. We are waiting for more news from the Liberia National Police to know exactly how this happened.

Please, let's keep the victims and the lone survivor in our prayers. Drivers, please take it easy on the road.
Life is too short. 🕊️🙏

Follow us for more updates as we get them.

Clear message at the Guinea-Liberia border 🇬🇳🤝🇱🇷
Many people are talking today about the issues at the Guinea-Liberia border, around rivers and villages. But you need to know the real history of borders.
The border between Guinea and Liberia does not date today. It was officially signed on January 13, 1907 in Paris, in an agreement between France (who administered Guinea at the time) and the Republic of Liberia. This historic document is signed by Stéphane Pichon, Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, and Ernest Lyon, Representative of Liberia.
This agreement allowed to effectively delimit the border between Guinea and Liberia, to avoid conflicts between the two territories. After this treaty, the boundary between the two countries is recognized by international law.
In this region, several border areas follow natural lines like mountains and some streams coming from the Nimba Mountains. For example, some rivers originate in Guinea and then cross to Liberia. Mount Nimba is an important point that meets the borders of overpayers.
These borders were drawn more than a century ago, long before Guinea's independence in 1958. Later, they are recognized by the international community.
So the most important thing today is dialogue and peace between the two peoples, because the population of Guinea and Liberia are neighbors and brothers. Borders exist to organize states, but they must not cause conflict between peoples.

Breaking:‎ Nimba Traditional Leaders Summon New Zoe Prophetkey to Zayglay

By : P Uriah Suah

Ganta , Nimba County ....Traditional authorities in Nimba County have announced plans to summon New Zoe Prophetkey to appear before the county’s highest traditional council in Zayglay Town amid an ongoing legal dispute involving him and Chief Justice Yamie Gbeisay.

‎Speaking on the Voice of Gompa on February 12, Nimba County General Cultural Coordinator Melvin Gbaylia and Chief Zoe Saye Papa, alongside members of the Nimba County Chiefs and Elders Council, said that regardless of any outcome in the formal legal system, Prophetkey would still be required to answer to traditional leaders.

‎“Even if the law sets him free today, the tradition will not set him free,” the elders stated, emphasizing that he would be invited through the Paramount Chief of Doe Chiefdom to appear before the traditional seat in Zayglay, regarded as the cultural authority of Nimba County.

‎The leaders expressed concern over what they described as Prophetkey’s public insults directed at national leaders, noting that while he presents himself as a traditional figure, his conduct has raised questions within the traditional community.

‎They maintained that disrespect toward established authorities would not be taken lightly and insisted that Prophetkey must appear before the council to respond to the issues raised.
