Community Empowerment for Change formed part of a successfully four-day Training of Trainers (ToT) on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) for Community-Based Support Groups, including Father Support Groups, Mother Support Groups, and Community Savings and Loan Association (CSLA) Groups.

The training was held in Compound #1, Grand Bassa County, and aimed at strengthening the capacity of the ASPIRE Project National Implementing Partners (NIPs) — CEC, CHI, and SHED — who will further roll out the training across ASPIRE-supported communities in District #2, Grand Bassa County.

The Training of Trainers (TOT) was facilitated by Action Against Hunger Liberia, Concern Worldwide, and representatives from the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Department.

The sessions focused on promoting mental wellbeing, psychosocial care, community support mechanisms, and strengthening local capacity to identify and respond to mental health challenges within communities.

CEC remains committed to supporting community resilience, wellbeing, and sustainable development through partnership, learning, and empowerment. 🤝🌱
