We’re excited to share a significant milestone in our journey!

The Muslim Nation newspaper, founded in 1883 by scholar M. K. Sithilevai, a legal expert and journalist, was a pioneering publication in Tamil-language Islamic journalism in Sri Lanka.

On December 4, 2021, a rare 1905 edition of the newspaper was presented to the Kattankudy Heritage Library by MNM. Nasmeer JP (Malwana), in the presence of Mayor SHM Asfar JP, UM. The event was graced by members of the Old Students’ Association of Malwana Al-Mubarak National School and municipal council officials.
