IELTS කියන්නේ අපේ English knowledge එකම විතරක් පාවිච්චි කරලා ගොඩ යන්න පුලුවන් exam එකක් නෙමෙයි. මේ එක strategies මත තමා තියෙන්නෙ. ඉතින් මෙන්න මේ ක්‍රම ඔයා follow කරනවද බලන්න.
1. Class ගියත් නැතත් ඔයාටම වෙන් උන කාලයක් exam එක වෙනුවෙන් තියනවද?
සමහරවිට ඔයා teacher කෙනෙක්ගෙන් ඉගෙන ගන්නවා වෙන්න පුලුවන්.හැබයි අපි ඒ ඉගෙන ගත්ත දෙවල් review කරන්න වෙනවා. ඒ ක්‍රම අත්හදා බලන්න වෙනවා.මේකට තමන්ට schedule එකක් තියෙන්නම ඕනෙ.

2. ඔයා exam structure එක ගැන කොයි තරම් දැනුවත් ද?
ඔයා exam කරන්න හිතන කෙනෙක් නම් පලවෙනි පියවර තමයි exam structure එක කොයි වගේද කියන එක දැන ගන්න එක. උදාහරණයක් විදිහට ගත්තොත් Writing Paper එකට time,parts, weight for each part, do and don't areas.

3. ඔයාගේ වැරදි අඩු පාඩු අදුර ගන්න ඔයා මොකද කරන්නේ?
අපි කොච්චර practice කලත් වැඩක් නෑ ඔයා කරන mistakes අදුර ගත්‍තේ නැතිනම්. Exam tips ඉගෙන ගන්නවා වගේම වෙන්න පුලුවන් mistakes මොනවද ඇයි ඒකට marks අඩු වෙන්නෙ කියන එක හොයලා බලන්න.

4. කොයි තරම් දුරට ඔයා research කරලා තියෙනවද?
ඔයාට ගොඩක් sources පාවිච්චි කරන්න පුලුවන් දැන්. උදාහරණයක් විදිහට ගත්තොත්, ChatGPT, YouTube, Websites, Podcast channels. ඉතින් මේවා පාවිච්චි කරලා skills තව දුරටත් වැඩි කර ගන්න පුලුවන්.

5. ඔයාගේ effort එක consistent ද?
අපි exam එකට ready වෙන මුල් කාලෙ තියෙන උනන්දුව දිගටම තියා ගන්න ඕනේ. දවසින් දවස 1% improve වෙන්න ඕනේ. විසිරිලා තියෙන වැඩ පිලිවෙලකට හදා ගන්න වගේම cover කර ගන්න ඕනේ areas ටික track කර ගන්න.

6. ඉගෙන ගන්න අලුත් දේවල් ඔයා exam එකට කලින් try කරලා බලුවද?
උදාහරණයක් විදිහට ගත්තොත්, ඔයා ඉගෙන ගන්න අලුත් vocabulary , idioms, linking words නිතර නිතර පාවිච්චි කරන්න.එතකොට exam එකට අමුතුවෙන් දෙයක් මතක් කරන්න ඕනේ නෑ.

7.ඔයාට exam එක ගැන positive mindset එකක් තියෙනවද?
නිතරම හිතන්න මේක කරන්න පුලුවන් දෙයක් කියලා, අපිට එන එක අභියෝගයක් විතරයි මේක. තමන් හොදට practice කලාට පස්සෙ එන confidence එකෙන් exam එක කරන්න. කට පාඩම් කරන්න එපා කොයි වෙලෙවත්. Skill එක වැඩි දියුණු කර ගන්න.

IELTS Academic Writing Task 1 Structure

Introduction:

Mention the type of graph/chart/diagram and its source.

Overview:

Provide a general summary of the main features or trends shown in the visual information.
Identify the most significant or notable points.
Do not include specific data or numbers in the overview.

Body paragraphs:

Present detailed information about the main features, trends, or comparisons, supporting your analysis with specific data from the visual information.
Group your information logically, focusing on key points or stages shown in the graph/chart/diagram.
Use appropriate language to describe the data accurately, including comparisons, trends, and proportions.
Use a variety of sentence structures and vocabulary to enhance your writing.
