🦋 The White Moth dreamcatcher has finally been delivered to its rightful owner! 🌹

Everything you see here, from the sparkling crescent moon, wreath, white moth to the frames are all handmade and been customized as per the request of our good-hearted customer.

🌻 The creation of the cluster!

The quick walk into the wood to look for a perfectly shaped wooden branch and some bamboo sticks, was absolutely a refreshing start in creating the cluster. 🌠☄️

Then after scraping out the outer layer, the branch was kept to dry in sunlight for two days. Next, it was painted with a zealer and some varnish to make it durable.🌬🌞

Next the frames are made with wire codes, wrapped them in fabric and the doilies with beautiful crochet patters. Added some pearl beads to give its beauty a simple glamour. Each one is stiched individually with utmost care. 🌟🌟

Sourcing feathers was the hardest part. They are too expensive in the market and hard to find in bulk. However found some for the necessity but this could have looked much better if i could source some quality feathers as i really needed. Heartbroken 🐔🦃🐓😭💔

Then by cutting the bamboo stick into small pieces and carving a hole in the middle, I could make cute looking bamboo beads that helped blend the colours of the branch and the dreamcatchers. 🤗🍂🌳

By putting everything in together, time was for photographing! My Chunky bud (my little furry cat) offered some great poses for the frames. He too loved how it came out! 😘🐱🐈

Packaging is usually another challenge as I myself make the boxes and customize the packages! 📦

Finally, I took the package to the courier office (Domex) and confirmed the delivery by paying the courier charges ( usually LKR 300 per 1KG). Courier services in Sri Lanka is another chapter. Most of the time, timely delivery and the standards of the services are not met. 😅📦💔

This is the story of the cluster!. Its beauty looks simple yet the work under the surface is immense!

I can surely say beautiful things take time, consumes much energy, but its all really worth it! 🤗❤
