'Msheireb' translates to English as 'place to drink water' in Arabic. It is now a place for everyone in Doha to relax after a busy week of work. The irony of it all as I was not able to do street photography for over 2 months until yesterday.
Most of Msheireb still enjoys centuries old buildings with spices, street food and even pets while the other half houses the most exclusive and luxurious brands and hotels.
Here's one of my favorites from yesterday! Thanks to for showing me around!

I enjoyed capturing the silly stances of these intelligent creatures but most often than not, I was stunned by their motherly care.
(The toque macaque is a reddish-brown-coloured Old World monkey endemic to Sri Lanka, where it is known as the Rilewa or Rilawa hence Rillow in English.)
Captured in Anuradhapura.
Had the opportunity to go on a hike with and a couple of others in March this year. This was something I wanted to do for years. Happy that I was able to capture this little gem of him being in his element!
Priyantha is one of the best landscape photographers in Sri Lanka. He also owns the first Youtube channel dedicated to landscape photography and provides his services in capturing architecture. He spends his time travelling around the globe and teaching the next generation of photographers while balancing a full on corporate job.
