“In the past few years, I discovered a deep passion for coffee. I started researching, tasting and experimenting with coffee any chance I got. Coffee, for me was a way to escape my daily routine and appreciate all the love that was put into making a single cup. I got the opportunity to open Common Ground where I can share my passion with the staff and the community around us.

I see Common Ground as a spot where people engage together, meet with loved ones and build plans while enjoying a nice cup of coffee. For me, Common Ground can be a base where I can work on my dreams in Lebanon and support the community around me.”

Living in a failing state and saying goodbye to all my friends is not easy. However, I took the decision to stay here and endure the crisis. For that I knew I had to use my passion as a fuel for hard work.

I had the opportunity to start a new project, my second baby, Common Ground. Common Ground is a coffee shop and bar located on one of the stairwells of Mar Mkhayel. We serve coffee, food, alcohol and most importantly love.

The decision was made and there's no backing off.

For me, Common Ground is a hidden gem, and the team will make sure it grows organically and peacefully.

We stand strong no matter what, side by side!
