هل تعلم ان التخلص الغير مسؤول من زيت الطهي المستعمل يسبب آثارًا سلبية عديدة؟
إن تجمده داخل الأنابيب يؤدي الى انسدادها، و وصوله الى المسطحات المائية الطبيعية يقلل من مستوى الأكسجين و يحجب أشعة الشمس، مما يشكل خطرًا على الثروات البحرية.🐠

If you wouldn’t eat a plastic fish, then why eat a plastic-eating one?
اذ كنت لا تأكل سمكة بلاستيكية فلماذا تأكل سمكة تأكل البلاستيك؟
البلاستيك ينتهي في المحيط نتيجة لسوء إدارة النفايات.
غالبًا ما تخلط الكائنات البحرية الجسيمات البلاستيكية بالطعام، وبالتالي ابتلاع هذه المواد الضارة.
عندما نتناول هذه الأسماك، نأكل عن غير قصد تلك الجزيئات الدقيقة من البلاستيك مما قد يشكل مخاطر صحية محتملة.
تبني عادات مستدامة تحمي سلامة الغذاء من خلال تقليل البلاستيك في المحيط، وحماية الحياة البحرية والسلسلة الغذائنا.

Is waste something you no longer need, or is it something with no more use? Answering this question during awareness sessions helps individuals identify how to handle and dispose of it properly.♻️
In collaboration with , ReFuse organized an awareness session with various community groups, where we helped them understand the importance of recycling, as well as reducing and reusing their materials before considering them as waste.
هل النفايات أشياء لم تعد بحاجة إليه، أم أنها أشياء لم يعد لها فائدة؟
الاجابة على هذا السؤال خلال جلسات التوعية، يساعد الأفراد على التعرّف على كيفية التعامل مع الاغراض التي يودون التخلّص منها بالشكل الصحيح.
نظمنا بالتعاون مع ادرا، جلسات توعية لمجموعات مختلفة، حيث قمنا بشرح أهمية إعادة التدوير وكيفيّة التقليل من المواد المستهلكة من قبلهم وإعادة استخدامها قبل اعتبارها نفايات.

During our latest awareness session, 🤝🏻 in collaboration with and we were happy to exchange knowledge on the different ways anyone can reduce waste during their day to day practices.♻️

We were very pleased to walk Lebanon’s Minister of the Environment through our newly launched collection point in Hamra, where we accept and process 24 types of materials. 📍
♻️ Recycling in Lebanon is becoming more and more a matter of choice. Sorting is on you, what’s next is on us.
🤝🏻 We were pleased to collaborate with Mercy Corps - Lebanon on this cash for work project.
😄On the one hand, it's a pleasure to assist employees in acquiring new skills, and on the other, tons of recyclables♻️ were prevented from going to waste.

We are proud to announce the launch of our newest collection point as part of the ECOHUB, a community center that fosters collaborations among various partners, established by the Ahla Fawda NGO.
Special thanks to all local officials, USAID Lebanon Program Office Director Nicholas Vivio, and our beloved partners, friends, supporters, and members of the community for being present at the inauguration celebration on April 28, 2023.🎉
