South Korea has announced a nationwide cash relief plan, and yes — some foreigners are included.

👥 Who are the “70% of the population”?
This refers to the bottom 70% of income earners in Korea — about 32.5 million people.

✔️ It’s based on income level (not nationality)
✔️ If your income falls below the top 30%, you’re likely included
✔️ The eligibility was calculated using March 30 data

🌍 Are foreigners eligible? YES — but with conditions
While foreigners are usually excluded, many can still qualify if they meet these:

✔️ You are registered in a household with at least one Korean citizen
✔️ AND you are enrolled in National Health Insurance

💡 OR if your household is all foreigners:
You may still qualify if you are:

A permanent resident (F-5)
A marriage migrant (F-6)
A recognized refugee (F-2-4)
✔️ AND enrolled in National Health Insurance

💰 How much will you receive?
₩100,000 (~$68) → Seoul metro residents
₩150,000 → Outside Seoul
₩200,000–₩250,000 → Special regional support areas
Up to ₩550,000 → Vulnerable groups
➕ Extra ₩50,000 if you live outside the capital region

📅 When can you apply?
April 27 – May 8 → Priority groups
May 18 – July 3 → Most people (including eligible foreigners)
