Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to jumpstart a vehicle
1.Find a working car (donor car) with a good battery.
2.Grab jumper cables.
3.Park both cars close, but not touching, with engines off.

4.Connect the Cables:Red cable: Clip one end to the positive (+) terminal of the dead battery, then the other end to the positive (+) terminal of the good battery.
5.Black cable: Clip one end to the negative (-) terminal of the good battery, then the other end to an unpainted metal part on the dead car’s engine (not the battery).

6.Start the Donor Car:Turn on the working car’s engine and let it run for 1-2 minutes.

7.Start the Dead Car:Try starting the car with the dead battery. If it doesn’t start, wait a couple more minutes and try again.

8.Remove the Cables:Once the dead car starts, remove the cables in reverse order:
cable from the unpainted metal part.
cable from the good battery’s negative (-) terminal.
cable from the good battery’s positive (+) terminal.
cable from the dead battery’s positive (+) terminal.

Keep the Car Running:Drive the jumpstarted car for at least 15-20 minutes to recharge the battery.
