Jamii imepeana maoni tofauti tofauti ju ya mada hizo ingawa Kuna mengi yaliyojifichua katika warsha hii. Tumesoma kutoka kwa jamii kwamba visa vya mimba za utotoni vipo lakini jamii imeshindwa kudhibiti changamoto hii haswa ikizingatiwa kwamba vijana wekuwa na Siri nyingi sana na akili zao zimejaa uzinzi, jamii imeegemea kuwa mtandao ndio changizo kubwa ya visa hivi vya mimba za mapema kuongezeka. Moja kati ya hoja kutoka kwa mzazi "Watoto wetu wametushinda ujanja, wanaakili ambazo hatujui wamezotoa wapi, kijana mdogo lakini anasimu kubwa, anatumia mtandao kutizama video za ngono, Hali hii imewafanya kujuwa ngono mapema na hatimae kuwapelekea kujihusisha katika vitendo Hivyo vichafu, sisi k**a wazazi tumeshindwa kudhibiti hali hii na tunahitaji msaada wa kifkra sasa". Today, Active Minds CBO, in collaboration with Asia Said, conducted a meeting in Mwaroni Village from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The session was divided into two parts, with each group receiving one hour of training. We divided the participants into groups since the chairs were insufficient to accommodate everyone. Additionally, the ground was muddy because of the rain, making it impossible for people to sit on the floor.

The training focused on self-awareness and menstrual hygiene. The participants were highly cooperative and expressed their desire for such sessions to be held regularly. They expressed their gratitude for the lessons learned.

Today, we celebrate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD), observed annually on December 3rd. This year’s theme, “Amplifying the Leadership of Persons with Disabilities for an Inclusive and Sustainable Future,”highlights critical role that persons with disabilities play in creating a more inclusive and sustainable world for all. It also emphasizes the importance of the participation of persons with disabilities in decision-making processes that affect their lives.

This World AIDS Day, we join the global community in 'Racing Against Time' to end HIV/AIDS. Active Minds CBO remains committed to raising awareness, promoting testing, and ensuring access to treatment. Together, we can achieve a future free of stigma and AIDS. 20230.

Being a male Champion and The chairman of Active Minds CBO ,Today i have got an opportunity to attend a GYW summit at Diani reef hotel .The summit was all about sharing experiences of 2024 'She leads 'activities across the country. She leads is one of the projects that advocates for girls and young women to be meaningfully engaged in their community...this project aims at giving GYWs equal opportunities to take leadership positions in their community regardless of their education status, races, tribes or disabilities. The project works under Network for adolescent and Youth of Africa (NAYA)across the previlleged counties in Kenya...Kwale county being one of the previlliged Counties where NAYA Implements its project, we've seen promising results through this initiative , this has been recorded after seeing GYWs are meaningfully engaged in various community activities such as public participation, developing of SGBV bill activities, submitting memos and many more. Today we have living testimonies for our GYWs , we have Msambweni Queens, Amkeni Girls from Gasi, Mambo Leo arts group from Makongeni and many of SHE LEADS beneficiaries who have been empowered and today they have their own organizations and businesses they run, for sure this is a milestone to our girls and young women from Kwale county and Kenya at large.The White Ribbon AllianceKwale Focus CBOKwale County Government

Still having a continuation of yesterday's agenda of advocating for safe delivery during maternity journey, respectful maternal care and the sustainable development goals At Mwakamba village . We have been able to learn some of the challenges that our Women faces during delivery and the following were the two main challenges that have to be focused on.
1. Ignoring referrals
Most of our expectant Women do not take their referrals seriously..they prefer giving birth to any health care centre rather than where they are supposed to attend their initial referrals and eventually this may result to complications during birth..and the health care centre could not be in a position to handle the situation. Expectant Women are advised to attend their referrals accordingly.
2. Poorness in attending maternal clinics
Most of expectant Women are poorly attending their antenatal clinics resulting to low knowledge on how they should handle their pregnancy and lack of proper knowledge concerning pregnancy . Therefore, expectant mothers should kinly observe their clinics and get the right procedure to follow and avoid unnecessary complications during their deliveryThe White Ribbon Alliance
