They say the delicate balance of mentoring someone is not about creating them in your own image, but about giving them the opportunity to create themselves.
Yesterday, we were honored to receive a visit from our KCDF Coach and consultant for the Change the Game Academy. This was not just a simple walk in and out; it was a dedicated session to share insights and to help us forge a clear vision and direction for our goals.
As an organization undergoing the Change the Game Academy training, we are proud to see our Mobilizing Support Training (MS) taking shape and progressing nicely. A sincere appreciation to our Coach, Charles, and his entire team for their invaluable guidance

On December 21, 2024, we witnessed something truly extraordinary. The InterChris Youth of Kenya now INTERCHRIS FOUNDATION brought together over 300 passionate young people from Nakuru County for a remarkable tournament that was much more than just a sports event. It was a celebration of youth energy, community spirit, and a firm commitment to safeguarding our environment through the Youth for Land Restoration Agenda.
The tournament, held at the Rift Valley National Polytechnic, was a unique platform that blended the excitement of sports with a strong message on land restoration. It showcased the incredible potential of young people not just as participants but as active leaders and advocates for sustainable land use and environmental stewardship.
Throughout the day, the energy was electric. Young people bonded over their shared love for sports while engaging in critical conversations about combating desertification and creating a sustainable future for our communities. This wasn’t just an event; it was a movement—a rallying cry for youth to step up as custodians of our land and environment.
We are incredibly grateful to our partner Nakuru Endelevu Trust Initiative - NETI , Nakuru County Youth Bunge Forum , , and the Rift Valley Institute of Science and Technology for their unwavering support and contributions. Your collaboration turned this vision into a reality and laid the foundation for even greater impact in the future.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our esteemed guests, , former Nation Media Group communication expert, Raymond Patrick , Board Member and representative of our partner organization, Nakuru Endelevu Trust Initiative - NETI , and , Human Resource Manager at Tenwek Hospital.
Your presence and support added immense value to the event, inspiring and encouraging young people to rise as leaders and advocates for change. Together, we demonstrated that when youth unite with purpose and are guided by committed mentors, extraordinary outcomes are possible.
Let’s keep this momentum alive as we continue to champion youth-led solutions for a sustainable and resilient future.
