Covid was a really difficult time for many, including me, bt i count myself lucky.
Id say 𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗸𝘂𝘄𝗮 𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗷𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮, not by design but by luck.
Covid went down with my businesses, i came from someone who had employed hundreds of people to being alone.
The only thing that saved me was that over time i had built a few rental houses, not something that i was doing actively or intentionally but because someone urged me to.
Those rental houses over a very long period of time sustained me and my family, the rent i collected ensured i never lost my dignity and life never stopped.
Right now, am back to business, and i keep buying and building more, because covid could happen any other day and in many forms.

This is a sad story about a teacher i know, she was a hardworking English teacher for over 35 years, those ones who take early morning classes and late evening lessons.
After 35 years of eating chalk and standing in classrooms all day, she one day woke up with no school to go to, she was finally retired at 60 years.
And a big day we had,ate cake,danced, prayed and gave thanks....and still the next day, she had no job or business to report to, and arthritis had started calling.
As we pushed for her pension, she floated all kinds of business ideas, chicken farming, finally concentrating on her sizeable farm, egg hatching, a grocery and all.
