JuaLight intends to contribute to ending energy poverty using a for-profit model to foster sustainab

Jualight directly translates to "sunlight" or "to know light" in Swahili. The concept behind JuaLight, is to bring solar powered lanterns to people in developing countries without easy access to electricity. Additionally, the team hopes that JuaLight will become a source of empowerment for young people in developing countries by helping to create jobs.
