Different groups, different visions yet one people and one common goal: Change. Some identify as reformists, others as revolutionaries and others as reactionaries.
While the heterogeneity of the youth in relation to their end goal has been questioned, their desire for change remains a shared reality across the board. In this edition of The Roundtable Magazine, we look at different political identities of the youth, featuring Ademba ( Niko Kadi initiative), Alionya (Young Captains ODM Party), Mabonga alias KoT Sonko (UGM Party), Adan (Human Rights Activist), Muoki (UDA Party) and Jeremiah (Semezana initiative-CSO). Through their stories, we explore their motivations, achievements and political perspectives while also exploring how the broader youth understand, interpret and engage with the current political realities.
This edition also features opinions and stories from The Roundtable Writers across Politics, Lifestyle, International Focus, Sports & Culture.
