A bad day at work
While the country is locked in ongoing transport strikes and field protests, rogue elements are taking full advantage of the breakdown in order. On the ethical superhighway, a Toyota Probox—famous for its high-speed "miraa-cle" runs—was hijacked by armed individuals under the cover of the chaos.
The target? Not the car, but a full sack of green gold (miraa). This incident highlights the growing insecurity as opportunistic criminals exploit peaceful demonstrations to cause mayhem, turning a vital transport corridor into a lawless speedway.
When high-speed khat transit meets opportunistic crime amidst a nationwide standstill, the situation on our roads reaches a whole new level of dangerous.
Stay safe out there, and let’s keep our eyes open for these rogue elements. 👇
Things are completely escalating on Thika Road. A whole vehicle up in flames in Githurai as Kenyans protest the new fuel prices. 😳
With public transport totally paralyzed today and people walking kilometers to work, things are getting heavy. Where exactly are we heading as a country? 💔
Watch till the end and stay safe out there. What are your thoughts on this situation? 👇
It was supposed to be a routine border patrol in Sector 4—a dense, uncharted stretch of jungle where the canopy is so thick the sun barely touches the forest floor. Sergeant Miller and his five-man team knew the terrain, but they didn’t know the jungle had changed.
At 14:00 hours, the comms went dead. No static, just sudden, heavy silence.
Then, the tracking dogs refused to move. They whimpered, pinning their ears back, trying to dig themselves into the mud. That’s when the team smelled it—the distinct, metallic scent of ozone mixed with something wild.
"Form a perimeter," Miller whispered, his hand on his rifle.
Through the thick mist, a massive shadow materialized. It wasn’t an enemy squad. It was a tiger—but larger than any records indicated, its eyes completely calm, staring right through them. It didn't roar. It didn't charge. It just walked right into the center of their formation, as if deciding which one of them didn't belong.
Nobody breathed. One wrong twitch of a trigger finger, and the jungle would swallow them whole. For three agonizing minutes, they were no longer the hunters. They were entirely at the mercy of the wild.
They survived, but the footage they brought back changed everything.
What would you have done in this situation? 😳👇
