Appeal for Support 🤍

Some time last year, heavy and destructive rains accompanied by hailstones devastated the Kisumu region. Many families were affected, with widespread destruction of property. One of the most serious impacts was the damage to houses—many roofs were blown off or destroyed beyond repair.

Today, several affected families are still living in dilapidated houses that leak whenever it rains. During rainfall, they are forced to huddle in corners of their homes, and at night, they must fold their bedding and wait for the rain to stop. This situation has denied them comfort, safety, and dignity.

We are appealing to kind-hearted well-wishers to support us in rebuilding these roofs so that these families can once again live in safe and dignified homes. Any support will make a difference.

Thank you 🙏🏿

Day 14

Data shows that over 90% of women who experience Gender-Based Violence lack economic empowerment, which is often why they remain in abusive situations. Empowering women economically is a crucial first step in preventing and addressing GBV.

Let’s rise together, join hands, and uplift our women.

Unite to End GBV.
