This is one school in Narok County:📍Primary Schools: Laying Strong Foundations
Despite great strides with Free Primary Education, many schools still face shortages of teachers, textbooks, and classrooms, especially in rural areas. 🏫 More support for learning materials and teacher recruitment can make classrooms more effective and fun! 🌟✏️
Our youngest learners deserve the best start. 🙌🏾

📘 We need to Celebrate Kenya’s Evolving School System! 🇰🇪
Kenya’s education system is changing for the better! Under the Competency‑Based Curriculum (CBC), learners now go through 6 years of primary, 3 years of junior secondary (Grades 7–9), and 3 years of senior secondary (Grades 10–12), a path that supports holistic growth, life skills, and career choices. 📚✨
Every stage builds on the last so learners are better prepared for further education or vocational pathways.

Parents, students, and the Bomet community recently had a reason to celebrate the excellent educational opportunities within the county. Among these are the C1 senior schools, which are the top tier public schools, equivalent to national schools, known for their high academic standards, strong facilities, and programs that nurture both academic and personal growth.
In Bomet County, the C1 schools include Tenwek High School and Kaplong Boys High School for boys, Moi Siongiroi Girls Senior School and Kaplong Girls Secondary School for girls, and St. Kizito Secondary School for the Hearing Impaired, which provides specialized education for learners with hearing challenges. These schools attract students from across the county and beyond, offering a competitive and resource rich environment that encourages excellence.
Under Kenya’s Competency Based Education framework, C1 schools provide diverse pathways in STEM, humanities, and the arts, while helping learners access national level opportunities. For parents and students preparing for Grade 10 placement, these schools represent some of the best options for quality education in Bomet County.
🔴 Who among our students has managed to secure an opportunity in these top schools this year?
