Last week's conversation with a young persons focused on moving beyond harmful cultural norms and choosing education for a better future.

In our recent meeting with adolescent girls, we discuss with primary school girls and talked about the changes that happen during puberty. The session focused on understanding their bodies, menstrual hygiene, and how to take care of themselves with confidence. The girls asked questions openly, and we encouraged them to speak with trusted adults whenever they face challenges.

Last week, I had the opportunity to meet a vibrant group of young girls at the Youth Center to discuss the important topic of gender equality in leadership roles within the community. Our conversation focused on the challenges girls and women face in accessing leadership opportunities, and the importance of empowering young women to take up decision-making roles at all levels.
