A man who assaulted his wife, leaving her with permanent scars, was beaten by his in-laws after demanding that they either return his wife or refund the dowry he had paid.
According to reports, the woman fled to her parents’ home following the assault, where she received treatment and later recovered. Three months later, the husband contacted her family demanding that she return to him or that the dowry be refunded.
Her brothers told him he could come and pick up his wife, admitting that their sister could sometimes be difficult. The man arrived alone on the agreed date, where he was initially welcomed warmly before the situation turned violent.
The family is said to have tied his hands and legs with ropes before instructing the woman to beat him in retaliation for the abuse she had suffered.

The killing of an innocent young man and the disappearance of the officer responsible continue to raise painful questions. Justice cannot be selective — the officer behind this tragedy must be found and held accountable.
A grieving cousin spoke in anger and pain, later admitted she was wrong, apologized, and was arrested. But since then, we have also seen disturbing clips threatening the Somali community, telling us to “rudi Somalia,” while innocent families continue facing insults, humiliation, fear, and even disruption along the Nairobi–Garissa road.
Let it be known: Kenyan Somalis are not strangers in this country. Northern Kenya is our home. We were born here, raised here, and belong here.
Many people forget the ASAL regions cover about 467,200 to 520,000 square kilometers — nearly two-thirds of Kenya’s land mass. Our community is not small, invisible, or foreign. We are part of Kenya’s history, present, and future.
I call upon the government, security agencies, and all leaders to act swiftly — bring the killer officer to justice, stop hate incitement from all sides, protect citizens, and restore calm before tensions escalate.
We want justice, respect, and peace — not division. Kenya belongs to all of us.

GARISSA WOMEN REPRESENTATIVE'S PLEA..
______________________________________________
"A MESSAGE TO THE YOUTH OF GARISSA!
PLEASE STOP THE DEMONSTRATIONS!
DON’T LET OUR RIGHTFUL CAUSE BE LOST.
There may be individuals among us with selfish agendas. Do not let yourselves be used to harm our community. Goons are exploiting these demonstrations for their own gain.
Please stop the violence. When chaos continues, the focus is lost. This is how we are distracted from our rights, so calm the town and proceed with restraint.
The focus and attention should be on the person who killed our young man and those who helped him escape!
Do not shift the focus elsewhere. We will achieve justice in this matter. Please stay calm.
This is a request from EdoUdgoon 🙏

A big win for Isiolo County as our very own Hon. Josephine Eregae is appointed as a Member of the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC).
This milestone reflects the growing impact of H.E. Governor Abdi Guyo’s deliberate partnership with the National Government and his sustained efforts to secure meaningful representation for Isiolo in national appointments—efforts that are now clearly bearing fruit.
As we warmly congratulate Hon. Eregae on this well-deserved appointment, we also extend our sincere gratitude to H.E. the President for recognizing Isiolo and granting our county the opportunity to serve the nation through this important role.
Together, we celebrate progress, representation, and service to the people

🔴 On the night of the aircraft downing, U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders calls on Donald Trump to resign.
🔴 Bernie Sanders said moments ago that Trump must step down from the presidency tonight. There has never been a disgrace in U.S. history greater than today’s disgrace and defeat at Trump’s hands.
🔴 Three aircraft worth $1.5 billion were shot down in the blink of an eye by Iranian air defenses—about which Trump had falsely claimed they no longer existed—yet today our planes are being brought down.
🔴 The American people do not deserve a dishonest president like this reckless individual who has harmed our country and caused the cost of living to rise for his people.
🔴 Trump will lead the United States to ruin, and it will be the end of America at his hands and Iran’s.
“Bernie Sanders almost every two days comes out to slam Trump 👏”

Supreme Leader Syed Mojtaba Khamenei and Abbas Araghchi had a long meeting. Both embraced each other and wept uncontrollably. It was not out of fear of war or death. Araghchi kept repeating these words: “Everyone has gone… why am I left behind from this caravan? You will have new companions, but all of mine have gone. Pray for me, that I too may become a part of this same caravan.” They continued to console one another and also expressed to remain steadfast in their struggle and beliefs — that as long as even the last Iranian remains alive, this struggle will go on. May Allah Almighty elevate the ranks of the martyrs. This grief reflects not weakness, but a deep sense of loyalty and sacrifice that words can barely capture. Moments like these remind us of the human side behind headlines and conflicts. Even in hardship, the bond of unity and shared purpose remains unbroken. Their resolve shows how strongly they stand by their beliefs and their people. May peace, patience, and wisdom guide all hearts during such difficult times.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ (IRGC) Navy and Aerospace Division reportedly hit the depot while targeting US military sites in Dubai. Ukraine, however, has denied that the reported incident took place.
Farhad Ibragimov, a Middle East expert at Russia’s Financial University, said that the strike should be seen as a clear signal from Tehran to Kiev and its backers that Ukrainian assets would be “legitimate targets” if Kiev was involved in the US-Israeli war against Iran.
Ibragimov characterized the Dubai attack as an initial warning – a “light slap” – which could be followed by a stronger hit if Kiev continues to seek involvement in the conflict.
The warning was Iran’s way of responding to Ukraine’s involvement “in deeds, not words,” he suggested, adding that Tehran “would be prepared to declare war on the Kiev regime if it does not back down.”
According to Ibragimov, Iranian officials see Zelensky as a figure they should not “stand on ceremony” with and believe he must be addressed in a language he understands.
Since the start of the current Middle East conflict, Kiev has moved to deepen its involvement by supplying the Gulf states with technology and expertise to counter drones, drawing on its battlefield experience against Iranian-designed systems, according to media reports.
Last week, Zelensky signed military agreements with the UAE and Qatar, following a similar deal with Saudi Arabia.
Earlier this month, he said 201 Ukrainian military experts specializing in counter-drone operations were deployed in the Middle East and the Gulf region, and that another 34 were ready to be sent. He added that the specialists were dispatched at the request of Kiev’s backers, including the US.
Middle Eastern governments are “not so naive” as to “follow Zelensky’s lead,” Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said, warning that cooperation with Kiev could prove a “catastrophic miscalculation.”
Earlier, former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev dismissed Zelensky
