Today, the Embu County Library conducted a successful mobile library outreach to several schools within Kirimari Ward. The initiative aimed to promote a strong reading culture and enhance literacy among pupils.

The program was warmly received and highly appreciated by both teachers and learners, who expressed enthusiasm for the service. Through the mobile library initiative, the library intends to extend its reach to schools across the county, continuing to support and strengthen reading culture among pupils.

Today, library staff and Nokras Hotel celebrated the Christmas festivities together with readers in a lively and engaging event. The celebration featured various activities, including reading aloud, storytelling, and dancing, which created a joyful atmosphere for all participants. Nokras Hotel generously donated a cake to mark the occasion. The event was further graced by Sammy Kiragu, a film producer, who encouraged pupils to embrace reading and make it an important part of their culture.

Information is power. Library main role is dissemination of information. Today Embu County Library disseminated information on the culture and history of Mbeere as the community celebrates its culture day. Chief Guest was CS J. B Muturi.

Today Embu County Library received Kasneb books from Accountant proffessionals led by CPA Douglas. The chief guest was Prof Elizabeth Kalunda. The information resources will help the library users pursuing accountants related courses.Embu is one of the three libraries beneffitting from this book drive.

Embu library for the visually Impaired persons group celebrated the International white cane day on15th October. The theme was safety and mobility for the Visuallly Impaired.
