A man spotted praying for his grade 10 son after admitting him successfully. He later left the boy with 30 shillings the only money he had. 😪

May the good Lord answer his prayers! 🙏

“Maggy Seurey lost her voice. Behind her smile is a wounded heart. The gospel music icon whose voice carried hope on every stage is now a sick mother nursing a special child. Maggy is diabetic. Her son has cerebral palsy. Every day after her daily needle she gives him his daily therapy. She missed the stage to nurse her son. She missed the studio to meet her doctor. She is a forgotten music warrior. Her star is dimming. Her wallet is waning. But her spirit still fights. Let’s not wait until she breaks.”

"The man I gave my heart is forty years older than me. He was abroad. And he was about to retire. I knew he was divorced, but he never knew that only IVF could make me a mother. We met in Nairobi. We spoke. He has been the partner I prayed for. No relationship is perfect, but ours rarely fights. He is my father, and I am his daughter. This is the relationship I wished for."

“My name is Emmanuel Kibe. On stage, I’m Fake Tizian. We were eight. First, we buried our father. Then, our mother. Maisha ikaanza kuwa ngumu. Three of us dropped after class eight. One sister is on bursary at KMTC. Our lastborn is in grade eight. I am the firstborn. I am their provider, their guide and their hope. I want the two who dropped to rise again. I live on a small plot in kamama. But I wish we had a place to call home. I am working hard to make them happy and change their tomorrow.”

Mercy Chelang’at, the Rongo University student breaks silence, apologises after graduation day drama where she was accused of faking graduation.

Mercy has finally stepped forward with a heartfelt apology, shedding light on the circumstances that pushed her to make the ill-fated decision.

"I have been struggling with fees and emotional stress for a long time. I felt trapped, ashamed, and overwhelmed. Instead of asking for help, I let desperation mislead me. I am deeply sorry.

I am not a bad person, just a young woman who broke under pressure. I take full responsibility, and I am ready to make things right.

I kindly ask for your understanding, prayers, and support as I try to rebuild and correct this situation. Thank you to everyone who has shown kindness during this difficult moment."

Chelang’at revealed that she currently has a fee balance of KSh79,000 and is appealing to well-wishers for support so she can clear the arrears, resume her studies, and eventually complete her graduation.

Her number is - 0702 005 439

Mercy Chelangat is the comrade from Rongo University who borrowed a graduation gown for photos and PR, fully aware she wasn’t on the graduation list.

The saddest part is that her parents, relatives, and even villagers travelled all the way to Rongo, hiring several buses and carried food in a pickup to celebrate their “graduate.” But the joy was short-lived. The real owner of the gown finally spoke out after his own parents began questioning why he wasn’t dressed in graduation attire.

Comrades, please don’t ever try this. Even if you manage to pull it off, there’s a 99.9% chance you’ll never graduate once the truth catches up with you. ALWAYS be honest, take responsibility, and give yourself a real chance to finish your studies.

A Kipsigis artist identified as SK Ronny has touched the hearts of many when he organized an online fundraiser to support a young girl by the name Chepngetich, whose family became a victim of Mau eviction and has been living in destitute poverty.

During a fundraiser, a total of Ksh. 612000 was collected, according to the latest update by the artist.

The young girl had attended an event in her village where one of Ronny's songs was played. She passionately danced to the song and caught the attention of the digital creators present, prompting them to record and place it on their platforms.

Ronny facilitated transport for the young girl and her family who then travelled from Torokiat in Narok South
to musician's home in Bomet for a supper and later, a fundraiser.

For the first time after the eviction, the girl and her family are now heading to have a place to call home so that they can be happy again.

Nurse Agnes Nambozo from eastern Uganda has gone viral for climbing dangerous 1,000-foot ladders up Mount Elgon to reach isolated mountain communities where healthcare access is almost nonexistent.

These ladders are too steep for small children, mothers carrying babies, and the sick to use safely, so Agnes takes on the challenge herself. She delivers life-saving vaccines, including those protecting against polio and yellow fever, to children who would otherwise remain unprotected.

Agnes also provides prenatal care, medications to bedridden HIV and tuberculosis patients, and health education during her visits.

From treating animals to soon treating humans, this is the story of a former dairy farm worker who refused to let circumstances define his career.

My name is Davis Kipleting, a nursing graduand from KMTC Kabarnet.

When I look back at the journey that brought me here, one truth stands out: it has been God from the beginning.

I sat my Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) in 2017 with hope, but life had other plans. I could not join college, so I repeated in 2018.

In 2019, after my KCSE, I volunteered as an untrained teacher in a primary school in Eldama Ravine. I earned nothing, but it kept me moving.

At that time, I knew little about KMTC and believed it was a place meant only for the privileged.

In September 2019, things changed when I received an admission letter to the Dairy Training Institute in Naivasha.

My parents borrowed money from a neighbour to help me enrol.

I imagined myself treating animals, not knowing God was preparing me for a different kind of care.

Although the course was meant to take a year, the COVID-19 pandemic delayed our graduation to March 2021, after which I landed a job on a small farm in Mogotio.

One afternoon, a friend from KMTC Kakamega saw me in a dustcoat and asked if I was a medic. I laughed and told him I was just a “dairy man”.

He encouraged me to apply to KMTC someday, but I brushed it off because I believed KMTC only admitted students with “perfect” grades.

Life humbled me quickly.

That same week, a cow developed hypocalcemia, and the owner blamed me. I was fired on the spot. I walked home that evening with tears in my eyes, feeling defeated. My mother looked at me and said words I will never forget: “Tusikufe moyo” (let us not lose heart).

In September 2021, the friend from Kakamega reached out again and urged me to apply for a nursing course.

Using my small savings, I went to a cyber café and applied for a Certificate in Nursing. In March 2022, I received a congratulatory message informing me that I had secured a place at KMTC to Pursue Nursing.

The rest, is History! See now, I am on the Graduation List!

"Even for this day, let's remember that our life, future plans, and relationship with Our Lord are all intertwined. He's the Author of our story, and He's writing it one chapter at a time. Let's trust His timing, trust His plan, and trust Him. Keep shining His light, and know that you are exactly where you are meant to be 🙏💕
