The Alupe University fraternity joined the family of Ms. Caroline Sikalo, a member of staff serving under the Office of Alupe University Council, in mourning the heartbreaking loss of her beloved daughter, Baby Rachel Mulongo.

During this difficult and painful time, the University extends its deepest condolences, prayers, and unwavering support to the family as they come to terms with this profound loss.

We regret to announce the passing of Selina Babra Juma, a student in the School of Education and Social Sciences (SESS).

Selina passed away on 16th June 2026 at Bungoma County Referral Hospital following an illness related to sickle cell anaemia.

Alupe University extends its deepest condolences to her family, friends, classmates, and the entire SESS community during this difficult time.

We stand in solidarity with all those affected by this loss and will continue to support the university community as we mourn her passing.

May the soul Comrade Babra rest in eternal peace.

From Kenya to Chile: Alupe University Researcher Advances Global Scientific Collaboration in Geothermal Microbiology

Alupe University lecturer Albert Mwongula is making significant strides in international scientific research through a collaborative programme linking Universidad Autónoma de Chile, Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, and Alupe University.

Mr. Mwongula, a lecturer in the Department of Biological and Agricultural Sciences within the School of Science, Technology and Engineering at Alupe University, is also pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree in Microbiology at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST).

2026 KUCCPS Placement Update!

KUCCPS portal is officially open for the Second and Final Revision of Degree Choices, alongside continuous applications for TVET programmes.

🗓 Degree application deadline: June 1, 2026
🗓 TVET application deadline: June 8, 2026

Important reminders:

✅ Students who already secured provisional placement after the initial application and first revision should note that their placement remains valid. Final placement details will be released in July 2026.

✅ Applicants who were not placed after the first revision MUST reapply through the KUCCPS portal before June 1.

✅ 2025 KCSE candidates who qualified for degree programmes but have not yet applied are encouraged to do so now. This is the final university placement revision window.

✅ Need assistance? Visit KUCCPS offices at ACK Garden House, Nairobi, or any Huduma Centre countrywide for support.
