Please congratulate OS1 (SW) Williams as SCSTC WESTPAC’s 2022 Sailor of the Year! Among a group of outstanding, superior performers, Petty Officer Williams led the way as a mentor, leader and exceptional instructor. His dedication and leadership have been pivotal in accomplishing our mission and increasing warfighter readiness in the INDO-PACOM AOR.

In an extremely competitive organization, blessed with exceptional talent, Petty Officer Dziubarczyk's impact on our Forward Deployed Naval Forces in Japan, has truly reflected his dedication to training Sailors and drastically improving warfighter readiness.

YOKOSUKA, Japan (Oct. 16, 2022) – Vender booths provide various American foods, beverages and merchandise onboard Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) during the 44th annual Friendship Day celebration. For the first time in three years, CFAY held the open base event to highlight the friendship between the local Japanese community and the U.S. Navy. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families. Navy Unveils New AEGIS Virtual Operator Trainer YOKOSUKA, Japan - Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC), in conjunction with SCSTC Detachment Western Pacific (WESTPAC), held a ribbon cutting ceremony to unveil the AEGIS Weapon System

Today, SCSTC WESTPAC welcomed Commodore George Kessler and Brian Deters, Executive Director, as they began their visit of the command. We are also proud to award OSC Wright and FCAC Irvin with Navy Commendation Medals as they prepare to transfer and Mr. Steven Herring for 15 years of government service. Congratulations to newly promoted QM1 Cain!
