Why So Many Rainbows in Hawaii?

According to science, Hawaii is the best place on earth to see rainbows. 🌈🌎

The archipelago we call Hawai'i lies in the subtropical Pacific, a prime location for the northeast trade winds to provide not only a cooling breeze for 250 to 300 days a year, but to bring frequent rain showers. The Mountains redirect these trade winds skyward creating more rainclouds above and around them, and then carry that rain to clearer skies resulting in perfect conditions to see a rainbow at both morning and closer to sunset. Additionally, because of its remote island location, the clean air of Hawai'i makes the rainbows more vibrant by having less pollutants to dull them.

John James's RHD 1954 Barndoor Kombi with the very rare opening rear hatch. It looks old, but underneath it is fitted with the red nine-front suspension set up with disc brakes, rear IRS suspension, a Beetle gearbox and a 1600 engine, so it drives like a more modern vehicle! 👌
