Morning view of workers heading to their offices around Yurakucho Station.
Yurakucho is one of the stations serving Marunouchi (and Otemachi) financial district, located right at the heart of Tokyo.
In the local train heading to Asukamura in Nara Prefecture from Osaka.
Some of you might have known that Nara* was the first capital of Japan, before Kyoto. This period is called Nara Period.
But, even before that, a civilization flourished in another part of Nara Prefecture, and that is Asukamura (known as Asuka Period).

初詣 (Hatsumode), meaning the first shrine visit of the New Year. Yes, as many people coming, we must stand in line.
Last year, I did my hatsumode at the temple in my neighborhood. This year, I came to Chiba and pay tribute to a local shrine here.
