EBISU BRIDGE
⭐️Locally known as “Hikkake-bashi” (pick-up bridge), Ebisu Bridge connects Shinsaibashi-suji and Ebisubashi-suji passing over the popular Dotonbori River in Chuo Ward, Osaka City. This area is popular among tourist for a selfie with the Glico signboard on the southwest side as the background. This is the same spot where a lot of young people jumped into the Dotonbori River in celebration when the Japanese national team Hanshin Tigers won against Seibu Lions during the Japan Series in 1985.

TEN-SHIBA (Tennoji Park Entrance)
⭐️Tennoji park is one of the known historical parks in Osaka. The park underwent extensive renovation in 2015. Since that year Ten-Shiba has been blossoming into a breathtaking park at the entrance section of the Tennoji Park. TENNOJI ZOO
⭐️With almost a century of history, Tennoji Zoo is a natural living environment for wild and domestic animals alike. The zoo design in itself is inspired by the African Savanna Zone. It expands to an astounding 11 hectares area of land. OSAKA CASTLE PARK
⭐️Osaka Castle is the paramount symbol of Osaka that has stood the test of time. History has it that this magnificent castle was first built in 1583 as emblem of the power of Hideyoshi Toyotomi. After his death, his chief retainer Ieyasu Tokugawa was appointed to Sh**un and erected shogunate in Edo. He destroyed the castle in 1615 in the Summer War of Osaka. He then constructed a new castle under his control until 1868.

⭐️The castle suffered a blaze during Battle of Boshin leaving the structure crushed into ashes. The Meiji New Government then requisition the castle area. In 1931, the Main Tower of the Osaka Castle was rebuilt. Fast forward to 1955, after is remarkable historical value, the area of the Osaka Castle was recognized as “Special Historic Site” by the national government of Japan. In 1997, the Main Tower was recognized as a valued modern structure and was designated as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property by the national government. At present day the castle houses its museum for people to appreciate its remarkable history and magnificent structure. The museum holds with it valuable historical artifacts and materials.

⭐️Osaka Castle Park is another feature in the Osaka Castle Complex. It is an extensive green grassy lawn measuring up to two square kilometers highlighted with plum, peach and cherry blossom groves. It is in the park that you can find the Nishinomaru Garden. It has a tea house and many cherry trees which are popular in the spring, and is a good spot from which to view the castle. Also found in the Park are sports facilities and the famous Osaka-jo Hall arena. Built at the park complex in 1599 is the Toyokuni Shrine in honor of Toyotomi Hideyoshi.

⭐️The park also boasts its moats measuring between 70 and 90 meters while its Great Stone Wall towering at 20 meters in height and length of 12 kilometers in total. A total of 13 structures in the castle site, including Otemon Gate (The Main Gate) and Sengan Turret, are recognized as Important Cultural Properties by the national government.

MINATO RIVER PLACE
⭐️Minatomachi River Place is just a 5-minute walk from Namba Station on any line right outside JR Namba Station. It is a multi-purpose events place unique for its urban design and serene view of the Dotonbori River. The Plaza that spreads around the building is composed of three parts consisting of a plaza on the 1st to 3rd floors, a promenade by the river, and a grand staircase that connects them adding grandeur to the complex that harmonizes with the waterfront suitable for Osaka, the city of water.

TSUTENKAKU TOWER
⭐️Tsutenkaku is a symbol of Naniwa (former historic name of Osaka) is also known as the Eiffel Tower of Osaka. The original tower, built in 1912 at a height of 64 meters, was the tallest structure in the Orient and shocked the people in that era. It was also one of the two great attractions of Shin-Sekai at that time next to the Luna Park. History has it that in 1943 a fire broke out and devoured the tower. It was later dismantled to supply steel to the wartime economy. After various difficulties and challenges, the Tsutenkaku tower we see now was erected in 1956. The tower is just a few blocks away from Ebisucho Station and Dobutsuen-mae Station on the Osaka Metro Sakaisuji Line easily accessible by just a healthy 3 to 10 minute walk.

KANSAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
⭐️Kansai International Airport is an international gateway located on an artificial island Kankūjima right in the middle of Osaka Bay off the Honshu shore. Since its opening in September of 1994, KIX helps to relieve the overcrowding at the original Osaka International Airport (Itami Airport).

⭐️KIX now serves as an international hub for All Nippon Airways, Japan Airlines, and Nippon Cargo Airlines, and also serves as a hub for Peach, the first international low-cost carrier in Japan. Known to be one of the busiest airports in Japan, Kansai International Airport has recorded a staggering 25.2 million passengers in 2016. As of June 2014, KIX served for 780 weekly flights to Asia and Australia, 59 weekly flights to Europe and the Middle East, and 80 weekly flights to North America.

⭐️Kansai was named Best Airport Staff in Asia, World’s Best Airport Staff and World’s Best Airport for Baggage Delivery in 2020.
Kansai International Airport is situated 50 km from the center of Osaka city. It is easily accessible by road, railway and high-speed ferry.

⭐️ITAMI – Osaka International Airport
Itami Airport (also known as ITM and colloquially called Itami Kūkō), used to be the Osaka International Airport located at about ten kilometers north of central Osaka. The airport first opened in 1939. However, in 1994 Kansai Airport (KIX) became operational and took over all of Itami's international and part of its domestic air traffic. Itami Airport now handles only domestic flights to more than 30 destinations across Japan. It is served by JAL and its subsidiary airlines, ANA and its subsidiary airlines, and IBEX Airlines.
