Prada’s original boutique, at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, introduced the Miranda July Hotline in person, with a landline telephone in an open vitrine that allowed for passersby to interact with the multidisciplinary artist’s voice. This Prada hotline extends Fall/Winter 2024 campaign, scripted by Miranda July and starring several Prada Ambassadors, to include the public, inspiring ambiguous, abstract, and possibly revelatory exchanges, each of them unique.
Prada Fall/Winter 2024 extends all over the world - and to individual phones, through the Miranda July Hotline.
Callers could “dial in” to speak with Miranda July, or rather, with July’s voice, which interprets conversation with the caller according to a pre-programmed script written by July herself.
