Sailor in the Spotlight January 2023

Jack Welch from Gilbert, Arizona and assigned to Fleet Air West Pacific Aviation Intermediate Maintenance Detachment Kadena. IT2 Welch primary job is to ensure networks and related systems are designed and operated properly, and errors are fixed without any interruption to the mission. Additionally he performs duties associated with System security manager, providing our Sailors access to our network and assisting them with clearance applications.

Collateral Duties: System security manager, Security Administrator, Building Manager, NEO coordinator, and Fire Marshal.

Hobbies: Welding, Programming, playing video games, can speak 6 languages.
