Thanks everyone for joining Jimis party yesterday. It was so nice to meet everyone. We had a great evening. My speech was actually much longer but to see mu sister teary eyed made me choke up. I would like to add: I am positive that both our parents, who unfortunately are not alive to witness this, would also be so very proud of Hana. She has managed to create a great place with the lighthouse, not just how it looks but a home from home for so many people living in Tokyo. And a even the locals appreciate the warm welcome atmosphere. Hana is such a loving and generous person. I love her to bits. And am always so sad when we have to say goodbye every time. I hope sone day we can be neighbours and spend our live together as old ladies drinking a beer. Love u sis Thérèse

Once again we are hosting a bi-weekly language exchange conversation event at the Lighthouse in Kokubunji this Sunday from 3 – 5pm. As always, our style focuses mostly on conversation practice, but if you want to bring your textbooks and notes, that’s fine too. We switch from English to Japanese every 15 minutes so that everyone gets a chance to practice their conversation skills with local residents from the west Tokyo area.
