It was snowy last night here in Kawasaki and while I was on the train on my way home, one of my students who took EIKEN Pre-Grade 1 Test a few weeks ago, sent me messages informing me about her passing the first stage of the exam and honestly, it made me so proud of her and so happy that we made it.

During our studying and practices, she told me that her parents would not support her anymore if she failed in that test again. (Actually, it’s her second time taking this test for this level.)

I, as her teacher with a heart like her mother, also felt sorry upon hearing it since she really wanted to pass in the test for her to gain some strong qualifications for her university entrance so soon. Most of all, she wants to make her parents happy and proud of her.

Thanks God she made it this time! 🙏🏻
