【KURO町家点検済✅年始より通常営業】今日、金澤町家修復士の大工の棟梁に、念のため建物を見ていただきました。一部壁の小さなひび割れがあるものの、構造的には全く問題ないとのお墨付きをいただきました。こうした明治時代に建てた町家は、現代では調達できない木材、再現が難しい技術で、揺れを逃がす工夫が施されているとのことでした。千三百年前建立の薬師寺東塔の例を出されて丁寧にご説明いただきました。 様、新年早々誠にありがとうございました。

Today, the head carpenter specializing in the restoration of Kanazawa Machiya inspected the building of KURO. Despite finding some minor cracks in certain walls, he assured us that structurally, there's no issue. These Meiji-era townhouses, built with materials and techniques hard to replicate today, have ingenious methods to absorb tremors.
