Spring recital information!

We will have our 2025 spring recital at the Taiyo community center ballroom on Saturday ,June 21st .

The technical rehearsal will start at 1:00pm . All dancers will need to be at the Taiyo by 1:00pm in their first costume ready to go.

The Recital show starts at 3:00pm. Doors will open at 2:40pm
We’ll be finished by 4:00pm

We have a great line up of routines put together this year, so invite your family and friends to come and enjoy the show!

Good morning,
Due to a sudden funeral I have to attend tomorrow, I will be canceling all dance classes.
There are 5 Fridays in May, so we will have classes for all of those dates, thereby making up for there only being 3 classes in April.
I am very sorry for this inconvenience.

There is no tarp available so I just canceled the performance. I’m sorry about this everyone. I know a lot of the kids practiced really hard for this. The dances were looking great in practice yesterday.
But I won’t let there it be in vain. I have an idea to bring my green screens to the studio next month and set up a video shoot .
We can shoot the routines with a green screen background and I will then edit them and put together a Music video style movie for the kids . I will confirm it with the Taiyo staff and let you know on the shooting day . 

Hello YDC parents and the students.

Just a reminder that tomorrow all students need to wear their costumes to class so that I can check to make sure we are all looking coordinated.

Also this message from the Taiyo:

Due to a big reservation at Taiyo tomorrow, we have changed the entrance to YDC class.

YDC classes will be held at 112B as usual, and students enter and exit the classroom through the side door of Room 112A.

The door leading to parking lot, not the main door at Taiyo.

We are so sorry for the inconvenience.

Just a reminder that all the regular dance classes are canceled today. We have lessons on Nov 8/15/22/29

Due to the unavailability of the dance studio this Friday we are having a make up lesson day tomorrow, Tuesday October 4th. All Hip hop dance classes will be conducted according to the regular time schedule. See you tomorrow!

Today we will have make up lessons for all the hip hop dance classes at the usual times.

This Friday, September 13, the studio isn’t available. So all classes are canceled. So our next lesson will be next Friday September 20.
Then we will have a make up day on Monday September 23. I’m very sorry for this inconvenience.

The new season is starting soon and registration is open!
Don’t miss out on getting a spot in one of our Hip hop dance classes.

We start Friday September 6.
Here is the new schedule:

Kindy class (5yrs old~) 15:00 ~ 15:40

Beginners (Grade 1&2) 15:45~16:30

Elementary (Grade 3&4) 16:40~17:30

Intermediate (Grade 5~) 17:45~18:45

* These age groups are for a guide. Depending on the experience of the members in each class I may recommend moving up or down a level to ensure each child is in a class that will suit them best.

Registration is open now but there is a limit to how many I can accept in each class, so don’t miss out!

The semester starts in September and concludes with our recital in late November.
