Smiles in the crowd on this Tuesdays walkabout! You know what that’s a sign of? Winning! Colonel Launey, Chief Griego, and Lt Col Wong stopped by to highlight our FMSE lead, TSgt Garfoyle for his critical role in a a theater liquid oxygen shortage. That’s some impact! Lt Col Daw also highlighted the rest of his FMSE team for the huge muscle movement involved by the whole team in this effort. Next stop was FSC! This weeks Humko millionaire is TSgt Moore! Again, hitting the lottery has a lot to do with luck, but this team brings some skill to the table! Keep doing great things! #whothehell #alwaysready #winnersworkhard #keepsmiling

Thursday’s walkabout took us to Fire Truck Maintenance and CV22 APS. We were looking at the fire trucks, the red one with number 3, really. 😂 And talking about our VM professionals’ decades of experience taking care of Fire Trucks; 😎 amazing! Then great discussions at APS, about the different jobs our Materiel Managers work here at Yokota. Thanks team, keep up the great work!
And this was TSgt Duque’s last walkabout as Asst First Sergeant 😢; thanks for all you’ve done for our Squadron! #BetheBest! #AlwaysReady!

What a great week for walkabouts! Today’s walkabout with the Commander and Shirt was with our amazing TMO crew. BBQ, new LRS additions (little logistician Adams), and some great conversation. It just won’t go without TMO!

Rewind to Tuesdays walkabout with our awesome MHE Maintenance and CV22 DMS teams! Pop the hood, damn we’re good! And Sup Sup! Damn right! These pros keep vehicles rolling and the supply so aircraft can fly! That wasn’t intentional but, it sounded great… Sorry, thinking out loud. Where was I? Oh yeah! You all rock!

Keep making each other better! What you do matters! #alwaysready

Training! It’s important, and LRS pro’s do it well! Let talk stats for a second. This fiscal year LRS has had 0 CDC failures, and with almost 1/3 of our active duty population in upgrade training, it’s an amazing feat! Let’s add to that… Of the members that have tested out of upgrade training this FY, the average score is sitting right at 90%, with 6 being between 90 and 95%. Our Flight Training Monitors have a huge part in this success. The Commander stopped by to personally thank all of them yesterday. Keep up the great work team. How you train matters. Apply what you have learned to move the ball forward! This team rocks! #alwaysready

Walk/Driveabout Thursday Ground Trans style with some of our Rhinos 🦏 today! CC was able to coin Mr. Mamiya San, one of our amazing Ground Trans members. His efforts had a huge impact on a recent KC-135 crew that he supported. His service, kindness, and overall support is bar none! Glad to have you on the team Mamiya San! The Shirt got to conquer an obstacle course in big blue as well. Upgrade training at its finest! #neverstoplearning #alwaysready #rhino #proud
