Kanto Plains Baptist Church

What was it like growing up in Ancient Nazareth? The adventure continues this year at Kanto Plains Baptist Church Vacation Bible School!

All Kids ages 3-7 are welcome to our VBS! Ages 8 and up are welcome to get involved as buddies to our younger students snacking, playing, and singing with them and helping them do the crafts. English or Japanese speaking kids welcome!

Free event! Parents are welcome (not required) to stay and make some great memories experiencing VBS with their child. Register in person Wednesday at 9! Join us!

As the church we have brothers and sister all over the world. Though we are parted we are still family. And families feast when they get together!

This was our special potluck to honor the Ronans before their big move.

Thank you Kumate-san for preaching! Today's lesson was in two parts about church members described as Christ's body and how to live that out.

The second part was about the Apostle Thomas and how he doubted but was corrected by Jesus and not overcome by his doubts. Another Thomas, Edison was also a critical thinker. This got him into trouble but was also one of his strengths as a scientist and inventor.

To have a firm faith we should not just have a blind faith or be overcome by doubt but should seek answers to our questions through prayer and bible study.

One powerful statement Kumate-san made was 'As members if we do not move, the church will not move.'

After service we honored the fathers in our congregation with applause and a vitamin drink. The children brought chocolate gold medals to their fathers they had decorated in class with Ohkubo-sensei.
