Fuji Flatliners Yokota

Hello to everyone that follows us!

We are still around but on a hiatus currently while we attempt to rebuild. We are currently looking for coaches. No skating experience necessary but must have motivation to learn the sport and help assist with practices. As soon as coaches are established and we can build a schedule, a recruitment event will follow with practices starting after.

Practice will proceed Saturday at the Samurai Fitness Center basketball courts 10:30-12:30.

🛼🛼🛼Your Fuji Flatliners will be having practice tomorrow (Saturday) at the Samurai Fitness Center basketball courts from 10:30-12:30.

Those who are interested in what roller derby is all about are welcome to come skate with us.

Loaner skates and gear are available but PLEASE message prior so that they can be retrieved from our storage location. Limited skates and gear so it is FCFS. 🛼🛼🛼

Tomorrow morning, Dec. 13, the base community is encouraged to line up on the sidewalks near the Fussa Gate Shoppette to honor the heroes of GUNDAM-22 as they are transported from Yokota AB via ground to a commercial airport for onward travel home.

For those able to attend, parking is available near the Base Chapel, dormitories, and Community Bank. Outbound travel through and near Fussa gate will be impacted for a short period of time during this movement.

Attendees are asked to be in place (blue lines on map below) no later than 7:50 a.m. We kindly ask those in attendance refrain from documenting the movement and pay respects through their presence. For the safety of all attending, please adhere to guidance from Security Forces members and other agencies.
