イタリアのチューニング・メーカー "Giannini"の500です。
日本ではあまり知られていないジャンニーニ。欧州ではトリノのアバルトと、ローマのジャンニーニはチューニングメーカーの双璧でした。

主に小排気量のフィアット車をベースとしたチューンを行い、ヒルクライムやラリーで数多くの成功を収めた事でも知られています。
こちらは、北イタリアのFIAT500コレクターより譲り受けた個体で、2016年にイタリアのヒストリックカー認定 A.S.I を取得しているフルノーマルの車両です。

ベースの500とはひと味もふた味も違うGiannini 。希少性もさることながら、運転が楽しすぎます！

Giannini not well known in Japan. In Europe, Abarth in Turin and Giannini in Rome were two of the greatest car tuners.

Giannini is known for its many successes in hill climbs and rallies, with its tuning kits mostly based on Fiat cars with small-displacement engines.
The car that we present here comes from a FIAT 500 collector in northern Italy, and is a full-normal vehicle that obtained the Italian Historic Car Certification A.S.I in 2016.

現在のクルマは居住性に重きを置くからか、以前の同車種と比べてサイズがかなり大きくなっています。

ただ実際の外見と、シートに腰掛けてみるとそのサイズに対する感覚はかなり違います。

この500もそう。
外見は本当に小さく、乗っている人もさぞ窮屈だろうと思ってしまうのですが、実際に乗り込むとこれがそうでもないんです。
窓の広さやフロントのデザインなどの影響によるんでしょうが、さほど狭さは感じません。ルーフトップをあければ、さらなる開放感を得ることもできます。

流石に大きなクルマが多く走る高速道路ではストレスなしにとはいかないかもしれませんが、街中では快適に走らせることができますよ。

ひとまわりしてのこのサイズ感、今とても新鮮です。

Perhaps because of the emphasis placed on habitability and comfort, today's cars have a considerably larger built than before, to make the room more spacious.
However my impression is that the outer appearance and size don't influence the feeling of comfort.
I take this Fiat 500 as example. Its small looks can make you think that the passengers must be very uncomfortable in it, but when they take a sit, this is not the case.
I think it depends on the wide size of the windows and the design of the front, but I don't get the feeling of the car being small. And by opening the roof top, you can get an even more open feeling.

You may not be able to avoid a certain stress on a highway with lots of big cars, but you can drive comfortably in the city.

Cars and their owners vol. 24 "LANCIA FULVIA Coupe 1.3S 1972"

Director Yokota established "The Toy and Doll Car Museum" in 1994. He has been passionate about antiques since his mid-20s and always dreamed of displaying them to the public. He has amassed a collection from at least 50 locations abroad and throughout Japan, from Hokkaido to Okinawa.

Recently, Yokota acquired a 1972 LANCIA FULVIA Coupe 1.3S with a white exterior and black interior, which he had been searching for for many years. He debuted the car at the "33rd New Year Rally 2023," where he impressively won first place.

この人にこの車 vol. 24『LANCIA FULVIA Coupe 1.3S 1972』

CrankTokyoで出会った車とそのオーナー様についてご紹介をさせて頂きます。本シリーズの第24回目は、おもちゃと人形自動車博物館 館長の横田正弘さんと、1972年式のLANCIA FULVIA Coupe 1.3S のご紹介です。

「おもちゃと人形自動車博物館」は、館長である横田さんが1994年にオープンしたミュージアムです。20代半ばごろから古いものが好きで、いつか展示したいと考えていたという横田さん。国内は北海道から沖縄まで、海外は少なくとも５０回は飛び回りコレクションを収集しました。

そんな横田さんが新たに選んだのは、 1972年式のLANCIA FULVIA Coupe 1.3S。外装が白、内装が黒のフルビアを何年も前から探していたそう。納車後初のお披露目は「第33回  ニューイヤーラリー 2023」。横田さんが見事優勝に輝きました。

おふたりが普段の生活の中で600Dを楽しむ様子をお伝えしています。

勝どきの抜けの良い街を走り、茶道教室へ。600Dの前開きのドアは着物を着ながら、美しい所作で乗り降りする事ができます。

Hasegawa-san and his wife are the proud owners of a FIAT 600D, which they obtained through Crank. They regularly share their enjoyment of the car in their daily lives from their bar, "QWANG," located in Nishi-Azabu.

In this particular instance, we are highlighting a scene where Hasegawa-san chauffeurs his wife to a tea ceremony class using the 600D. As they navigate the open streets of Kachidoki, they eventually arrive at the class. Thanks to the car's front-opening doors, his wife is able to gracefully enter and exit the vehicle while wearing her kimono.

Mercedes Benz 280E

This specific vehicle was imported by Western Motors as an officially imported dealer car. It has been in daily use by the current owner since they purchased it from a specialty store about four years ago, and it remains in good condition.

The unique, genuine body color, "Ascot Gray," is particularly attractive and rare to find. The blue fabric interior, which is typical of Mercedes-Benz, is in excellent condition.

CrankTokyoで出会った車とそのオーナー様についてご紹介をさせて頂きます。本シリーズの第23回目は、ファッションスタイリストの濱本愛弓さんと、1983年式のMersedes Benz 230Eのご紹介です。

スタイリストとしてファッション誌や広告などで活躍する濱本さん。「長く人生を考えた時、欲しかったものを諦めるよりも、一度経験してみないと納得できない！」と、初めての1台は乗りたい車にチャレンジすることに決めました。

取材当日、230Eに合わせて選んでいただいたのは、シャネルのヴィンテージツイードジャケット。
ファッションとしてもライフスタイルとしても、「あの車からどういう人が出てきたら素敵だろう」とイメージしながら、日々車との生活を楽しんでいるという濱本さん。パワフルで常に前向きな濱本さんに、私たちもパワーをもらいました。

Cars and their owners vol. 23 "Mersedes Benz 230E 1983"

I'd like to share with you the story of a car that found a new owner at CrankTokyo. In the 23th installment of this series, we introduce Ms. Ayumi Hamamoto and her 1983 IMersedes Benz 230E.

Ms. Hamamoto works as a stylist in fashion magazines and advertisements. She believes that "rather than giving up what you want in life, it's better to experience it at least once and see if it's really worth it!" With this in mind, she decided to take on the challenge of owning the car of her dreams.

On the day of the interview, Ms. Hamamoto chose to wear a vintage tweed jacket from Chanel to match her 230E. She enjoys her daily life with the car, imagining "what kind of person would step out of that car and how wonderful they would look" both as a fashion statement and a lifestyle. Ms. Hamamoto is powerful and always positive, and her energy inspired us all.

911の長い歴史の中で、Type930の次に登場したのがこのType964であり、
デザインや機構共に一層近代的になりながらも、911らしい美しさや魅力を保ったモデルです。

この車両は2年程前に現オーナー様とCRANK TOKYOが、
より洗練された、普段使いできるポルシェを目指し制作をした車両です。

腕の良い職人によって、内外装はフルレストア、エンジンはオーバーホールをされております。
エンジンのオーバーホール後から5000km程しか走行されていないことから、
内外装、機関を含め、新車のような状態を保っています。

The Type 964 Porsche 911 came after the Type 930 and managed to maintain the classic 911 beauty and appeal while modernizing the design and mechanics. The current owner and CRANK TOKYO worked on tuning the car about two years ago with the goal of refining it into an even better Porsche.
Skilled craftsmen fully restored the interior and exterior, and the engine got an overhaul too, making it feel like a brand new car. It's got a sweet engine hum that you really need to experience for yourself. Overall, it's an awesome ride, and we hope you get the chance to take it for a spin!

CRANK TOKYOで出会ったオーナー様とその車についてご紹介をさせて頂きます。本シリーズの第22回目は、伊藤さんと、1975年式Alfa Romeo Giulia Nuova superのご紹介です。

現在、プロスポーツのコーチをされている伊藤さん。現役でスポーツをされていた頃はイタリアでもプレーをされていました。当時、イタリアの旧い街並みの中を走るアルファロメオスパイダーデュエットを見て以来、アルファロメオにご関心を持たれたそうです。

ご納車させて頂いたGiuliaは、お仕事でグランドへ向かう際や、週末のドライブなど、普段からお乗り頂いているとのこと。生活の一部として旧い車が居ることで、気持ちが高まるとお話して下さいました。

Lancia Appia 1963

The Lancia Appia, a small yet elegant creation of Vittorio Jano, was first presented at the esteemed Geneva Auto Show of 1959.
Its typical feature are the pillarless, double doors inherited from the celebrated Aprilia model by the same house.

This vehicle stands as the final model to boast such double doors design. In order to achieve this pillarless design, the doors are of the most solid construction, and the interior, exuding a sense of premium quality in every detail, is a matchless attribute of Lancia's craftsmanship of this era.

Despite its compact size, the engine's powerful bass will inevitably captivate your attention.

This particular car was given to us by its owner from Padua, Italy, and its preservation is well-documented through records of the time. Upon laying eyes on it, one will be amazed by its exceptional condition.

Lancia Appia 1963

1959年のジュネーブショーにて発表された、50年代ランチアの小型モデルアッピアの設計はヴィットリオ・ヤーノが手掛けました。
なんといっても最大の特徴は、ピラーレス且つ観音開きのサイドドア。同社の名車、アプリリアより引き継がれた伝統的な特徴です。

こちらの型式の車両は、観音開きのドアを持つ最終モデル。ピラーレスを実現するため、この上なく重厚な造りのドアに、どこに触れても質の高さを感じられる内装はこの時代のランチアらしく魅力的です。
見た目に反し、逞しい低音を響かせるエンジンにも惹きつけられてしまいます。

この車両はイタリアのパドヴァのオーナー様より譲り受けた車両で、いくつか当時の記録なども付帯しており、コンディションは良好です。

Alfa Romeo 1750GT veloce

当時のスポーツモデルに搭載された直列4気筒DOHCのエンジンを持つ、1750シリーズのクーペモデルとして販売されました。

The Alfa Romeo 1750GT Veloce was sold as a coupe model in the 1750 series, with a straight-four DOHC engine that was installed in the sports models of that time. This model was popular because, once the high-performance engine was turned on, you could sense the true Alfa Romeo-style fun in your hands, something that many people are still looking for today.

This vehicle is a right-hand drive. A specialist shop restored it inside and out and its mechanics about five years ago.

The body color is "Egyptian Blue". It is a stunning metallic color that changes expression depending on the angle you view it from.
