I met the legendary Nick Cave in Brighton’s Resident Records around this time in 2006, and he signed the only thing I had on me: my mate Chris Bell’s magazine ‘Beat Happening’ back page for me. Also he drew the epic octopus skull logo from The Birthday Party’s ‘Prayers On Fire’ album after I showed him my tattoo of it on my chest 😎 LONG LIVE NICK CAVE
