We are delighted to have the continued support of PwC to provide our 29th PwC Jersey Young Musician of the Year Competition and PwC Jersey Junior Musician of the Year Competition.

The competitions have taken on a new structure in 2021 due to Covid-19, with competitors being professionally recorded last month. Despite the many restrictions and guidelines to follow, the performance standard and professionalism shown by all 73 competitors was truly outstanding.

As a Service we are proud to have continued our provision of musical opportunities both in person and virtually over the last 11 months. It simply wouldn’t be possible to hold the competitions this year without our sponsors (PwC, Island Music, Wendy Falla, Jersey Vocal Trust, Premier Brass), Stage 2, our fabulous accompanists (Louise Risby and Malcolm Whittell) and the dedication of all students and teachers involved.

We now await the results from our adjudicators, which are expected within the next few days - we will share the results with competitors before announcing elsewhere.

We’ll be providing you with further information on the competitions here over the next few days, whilst we await the results 🌟
