Well done to the Jersey Academy of Music students who took part !
Over the last 10 weeks, each class have been learning about their instrument and how to play them in their weekly music lessons & then taking the instruments home to practice too. They then began the rehearsal of 3 songs ahead of today.
4B played the violins, 4F played the violas and 4M played the cellos.
The concert was fantastic and the boys did themselves proud.
A special thank you goes to the Jersey Music Service (Dan specifically) for coming in each week to teach each class and for leading today’s concert.
And of course, a huge thank you and well done to Miss Lezala who arranged for the boys to have this opportunity and for providing the boys with such a fantastic music curriculum at VCP!
Every single finalist did a great job showcasing their excellent musical talents and huge congratulations to vocalist Sydney Haskins, who was crowned PwC Jersey Young Musician of the Year 2023.
