We had the pleasure of Zoë joining the team near the end of 2022. She ensures all residential installations are carried out smoothly, making the magic happen.

Zoë's work doesn't stop there as she cares for over 50 cattle on the family farm - you may find her photo on your milk cartons!

It was a pleasure to yesterday at St Lawrence Primary School, Jersey with 5 other people from various different backgrounds, encouraging children to ask us questions and guess "What's My Line?"

Meet Shayne - Solar Surveyor 💁‍♂️

Shayne joined SunWorks last year after leaving a career of web development. He adapted to the dynamics of the team and initially had his boots on, installing Solar. Now, from time to time, helps out where needed.

Shayne loves working on his campervan, rock climbing and skydiving over the coast!

SunWorks have featured in the February edition of the ecoJersey, Jersey Evening Post magazine.

It's amazing for the Durrell Jersey Zoo to reduce their carbon footprint and become more self-sufficient, whilst saving huge amounts at the same time!

We loved presenting the challenge to the Year 8 class at the Jersey College for Girls this morning. They were very switched on and asked some great, technical questions (which made us forget to take a photo to support this post).

We are expecting to see some amazing ideas come from this class and wonder if Solar will be implemented in a few 🙌

Project Coordinators touch on all areas of the company, bring crucial administration tasks together and coordinate between various stakeholders. This is a challenging and high-paced operations role with many moving parts and would be an ideal opportunity for a driven person looking to join a modern company making a local difference within a growing sector.

This is not a technical role and relevant Solar specific knowledge will be provided. The right candidates will be expected to have experience with administration, ideally some experience within a construction, commercial business or contracting business would be an advantage. Good communication is essential as well as high levels of customer service.

DAY-TO-DAY TASKS: Project administration, procurement & stock managment, scheduling technicians, sub-contractor arrangements, client arrangements

MEET James, also known as 'Jambon' 😎

James is a qualified electrician who has years of experience before joining SunWorks in 2021, to pursue a career in renewable energy. He brings an excellent skillset with a high attention to detail, a perfectionist some may say.

He is a polite, happy chappy and lives by the "work hard, play hard" motto 🍹

We thoroughly enjoyed presenting the power of solar to Years 4, 5 and 6 today at FCJ Primary inspiring pupils for the challenge.

We were blown away by how many children were aware of renewable energy and all of the long-term benefits 🌏❤️

James joined the SunWorks team mid-2021 after looking for a career change and is now a Solar Technician. He is a passionate, keen team player, always offering a helping hand. He is now especially helping the new employees providing on-the-job training!

If he isn't wearing a smile, there must be a problem (although SunWorks have never seen him without one!)

We now have 3 cars and 7 vans, all of which are electric! A good chunk of the electricity the vehicles consume is produced from the 17 x Solar panels installed on our office premises, located at the St. Helier Business Park, La Pouquelaye.

Meet Danny 😁

Danny originally joined SunWorks back in 2018, working in the office before heading off to travel SE Asia and Australia. He used his knowledge from SunWorks to secure a job working for a solar company in Australia. Danny then returned to SunWorks at the beginning of 2022.

He's a cool cucumber and a great team player, a keen learner who always chases new challenges.
